Hello Folks,

I've been on the ParaNet list for a few months and have really enjoyed reading

everyone's postings.  I've been quite passive about posting myself basically

because I just don't know too much about this stuff!

Anyway, I read Jim's post about a Belgian book coming out and a sort of

'call for translators'.  My French is OK (used to be better!) and I

wouldn't mind translating some of it for CUFOS.  It sounds like really

interesting stuff!

Just let me know who I should contact, and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks!

Jim:

Please suspend your belief in Mr. Lazar until you've looked at some of the

facts..

FACT: Lazar's claims about Element 115, which he says S-4 scientists isolated

from materials aboard the saucers, do not stand up to even the most rudimentary

inspection.

FACT: Lazar's memory of the details of 115 are so spotty as to be nearly

impossible from a physicist. The first thing a physicist would do is memorize

the Atomic weight of any newly-discovered element.

FACT: Lazar claims to have secreted some 115 in his home, yet it has

mysteriously disappeared. (If you had some of the most valuable material on

Earth, would you hide it in your home? Or would you immediately take out a

safety deposit box?)

FACT: Lazar claims to have walked up to Edward Teller, the greatest living

nuclear physicist, and simply been handed a job. Not possible.

FACT: Lazar's background does indeed seem a mystery. No school or institution

has ever heard of him.

FACT: Lazar provided a W-2 form listing as an employer a non-existent branch

of the government, with a non-existent employer ID #.

FACT: Lazar does indeed appear in the Los Alamos phone directory.

FACT: Lazar is known to have been associated with John Lear prior to his

coming forward. Lear is a former CIA employee who is known to have spread

questionable information for what seem to be disruptive purposes.

FACT: Instead of being a wild-eyed, rabid mega-mouth or a self-proclaimed UFO

guru, Lazar is in fact a highly credible-sounding gentleman, almost a

boy-next-door type whom anyone would believe in a flash.

I am not by any means telling you to ignore Mr. Lazar. On the contrary, pay

extra close attention to him. In him I believe you will see the most blatant

evidence for the UFO cover-up. Skeptics always ask, how could the government

possibly keep such a thing secret? The answer is that they don't. They realize

they can't, so they "hide it in plain sight." Mr. Lazar is, I believe, a false

flag, someone who is purposely planted (whether knowingly or not, I don't know)

to gain the confidence of ufologists, and who then can be shot down by skeptics

who can point to his criminal record (a most convenient contrivance - only the

2nd man in Clark County history to be convicted of pandering), his easily

falsified claims, and his lack of provenance. The result is that if someone

else were to come forward for real, say, from Tejon Ranch or possibly

Kwadjelein, no one is going to believe them. "Oh sure, just like that Lazar

guy, right?"

In short, they've got you watching the birdie. Keep your eye on the cat.

Hello John,

I think we'll be seeing a great deal of significant new

discoveries and innovative research re: the circles effect. In the

past few days, I've been contacted by a molecular biologist from

the University of Illinois whose expertise is in the area of DNA,

protein, and nucleic acid manipulation. He would like to obtain

samples of lyophylized CC plant material for analysis.

Additionally, a cereal chemist whose specialization lies in the

field of electron microscopy, also net-mailed me for samples of the

"malformed" seeds Dr. Levengood described. I will do all I can to

assist these individuals in acquiring material for their work.

It is encouraging to note that these professionals are coming

forward despite all the talk of "hoax", and the potential of

ridicule by their peers. Obviously, they feel confident enough in

their convictions that there is "something" to the phenomenon, and

are willing to take that risk. I maintain my view that they shall

be proven to be correct in their beliefs. I don't mean to infer

that we're necessarily dealing with UFO's or a "superior

intelligence", but I don't think it's the Energizer bunny either,

to borrow a hypothesis from Rick Moen.

One beneficial effect that has occurred since Bower and Chorley

came on the scene, is that only the "true scientists", and "true

believers" seem to remain. The diminished publicity level should

actually have a propitious effect on those specialists conducting

legitimate exploration. Thanks Doug and Dave!

One writer on another echo queried if anyone has done any Kirlian

photography studies on CC plants. Not to my knowledge, but I am

examining the possibility. This technique certainly could yield

some intriguing results, and possibly provide us with another means

of ascertaining authentic formations.

I will continue to do my best to keep you informed on the latest

developments, and appreciate the opportunity to facilitate the

understanding of a most complex and elusive curiosity.

 Thanks,

 Sheldon

Sheldon,

It is really amazing that there are still many physicist who insist

that ball lightning cannot exists.

I remember when, many years ago, a guy phoned me (people report all

sorts of strange phenomena to a UFO organization) and reported seeing

a green ball, about three feet in diamater, forming at the base of an

electricity pole in front of a house (on the opposite side of his

street) while he was actually watching it. He phoned me a few seconds

after the ball appeared and he kept looking through his lounge window

and reporting what was happening. The ball was an acquamarine green

color and transparent because, he said, he could see the electricity

pole and house behind it. The ball was stationary and eventually

disappeared after 30 seconds.

If my memory serves me right, there was a short thunderstorm during

or before this incident.

Regarding your reply to me about Robert Lazar, I must admit you

brought up some good points.  Although, I am basically assuming that

he must have worked at this secret base he claims, thats all.  The

fact no one knows about him, and that he 'officially' does not exist

could be due to the fact that people in power who don't want him

talking simply 'erased' him from computer recordsa here and there.

Not a hard thing to do you know.

Anyways, I don't know what to beleive in these days, you know. We

have to beleive something. Of course if you find flaws in Mr. Lazars

credibility, you might as well admit, you can find flaws in EVERY

PERSON who claims to know any SENSITIVE data regarding this topic.

What do you think about William Moore, or John Lear's stories?  They

are quite astonishing. But I guess if you really try, you can also

say the same stuff about them too - they could be working for the

government spreading disimformation. Who knows, who knows what the

TRUTH REALLY IS...

Thanks for your comments re: the ball lightning observation.

It's actually quite common for this phenomenon to be seen circa

power lines, transformers, and utility towers, as your onlooker

I am also confident that a substantial number of UFO reports

misinterpreted ball lightning, or a related event.

This is *very* interesting...  Ever heard of Mirkl/Putoff "Scroll

Waves"?

These are hypothetical constructs from the "Zero-Point Energy"

theories.  What is interesting is that Dr. Putoff achieved

results similar to the ones you describe from an experiment that

used a chamber similar to the waveguide you described.

While Zero-Point Energy is really primarily concerned with

extracting energy from near vacuum conditions (and things like

the van der Waals forces & the Casimir effect), photon

augmentation is another aspect of the theory.  There's a rather

lengthy text file available at KeelyNet, Tom Albion's THC Online

BBS in Canada, and my BBS on low-energy ZPE phenomena & on

photon augmentation.  File name is ZPE5.ZIP.

You might find the whole ZPE series interesting, actually.

Best,

  Clark

PS -- Here's a sample:

[much stuff cut...]

A vacuum between two sheets of metal is not the same as one that is

unconstrained. Some of  the modes of the electromagnetic  field  are

suppressed--the modes which  represent  waves  in the field that are

too big to fit into the cavity.

By changing the size of the cavity,  you  can  lose  certain  modes.

Groups of scientists around the world have built cavities  that rule

out certain modes  of  vacuum  energy,  and  thus  stop  atoms  from

       emitting photons at various wavelengths.

Using a related technique, they have  designed  and  built  cavities

that enhance the radiation by allowing the atom to  "see" more modes

of the vacuum radiation than it would if there was no cavity.

The results of   such   experiments   allow  scientists  to  explore

otherwise inaccessible areas of quantum  electrodynamics, the theory

       of electromagnetic fields.

An intriguing theoretical  point about the way that  atoms  interact

with vacuum has  been  made  by  Dr Hal Puthoff of the Institute for

       Advanced Studies in Austin, Texas.

For every atom there is an energy level below which the electrons

cannot sink. Dr  Puthoff  suggests  that this is because, at the low

energy levels, electrons cannot lose  energy  any  faster  than they

pick it up from a vacuum.

It is the  vacuum  energy  that  buoys them up, stopping  them  from

losing all their energy and collapsing into the atomic nucleus.

That means that  the  vacuum underpins the stability of every atom--

and thus of almost all matter in the universe.

David,

That's quite a post.

While I read it with interest, I feel compelled to say that without knowing

more about the sources and HOW you came upon this information, I have a very

hard time making any conclusions.  At this point, I'm very skeptical of ALL of

it.  If you are trying to help us out, we are going to need to know more so it

can be further investigated.

Hi linda,

Thanks for that info. I'd love to see that article.

Thank you, Mark. Please contact Mark Rodeghier at the Center for UFO Studies

at 2457 W. Petersen Ave. Chicago, IL 60659, 312-271-3611. Tell 'em ParaNet

sent ya!

Any other takers? There's plenty of chapters, and the more people we get

working on it, the faster the book comes out in English! Let's show 'em why

computer networks get things done faster!

Jim,

I've been on the ParaNet list for a few months and have really enjoyed reading

everyone's postings.  I've been quite passive about posting myself basically

because I just don't know too much about this stuff!

Anyway, I read your post about a Belgian book coming out and a sort of

'call for translators'.  My French is pretty good (used to be better!) and I

wouldn't mind translating some of it for CUFOS.  It sounds like really

interesting stuff!

Just let me know who I should contact, and I'll see what I can do.

Thanks!
