Description of UFONET_SYSOP Echo

Description of UFONET_SYSOP Echo:  --------------------------------          The Sysops Echo is where the <<UFONET>> Sysops can discuss issues relating to the operation of the network. Its hoped that this will be a forum whereby we can touch base with one another, bring up matters relating to policy, and perhaps answer the occasional technical question which may arise.          As I've mentioned elsewhere, we are a loosely run Network, and allow for great flexibility on the part of Sysops as to how they wish to run the rest of their respective boards. We are not a business, nor do we have a lot of redtape in the way of rules and regulations. It is hoped that we can avoid getting into the trap of discussing administrative issues to the detriment of the rest of the Network's functioning. For the most part, operation of <<UFONET>> will stem from its Charter, which of course may be amended from time to time. Press Enter...

==================================================================Ben Grant North Collins Elementary North Collins, NY Screen Name: ESH Diane, Diane NC ================================================================== PAST In the old days chalk boards were black. They changed them because they were to hard on your eyes. They taught all first through sixth grades in the same room! So by the time you got to sixth grade you knew almost everything. For our Specials we have Gym, Art, Library, Music, Band, Chorus, and, of course, Computer.  For lunch we can buy or bring. FUTURE In the future I think the school will be up in th

LIST OF SPECIALTY COFFEE/ESPRESSO DRINKS

--------------------------------------------------------------  *** LIST OF SPECIALTY COFFEE/ESPRESSO DRINKS *** --------------------------------------------------------------  It is not possible to present such a list as this without  explanation and a bit of perspective.  There is great variation from region to region (and sometimes  even from shop to shop) in the definition of specialty coffee drinks.  Please keep in mind that the following information is highly  subjective.  Barry Jarrett emphasizes:  "Getting a *precise* definition of espresso drinks is not  possible, just as getting precise definitions of cocktails  isn't possible.... Proportions vary and individual baristas modify.  [for example] Generally, a capp is 1/3,1/3,1/3... although this  becomes blurred when a 'latte' has foam on it. The line between  latte and capp is very vague, and the exact meaning of any of these  terms can vary from shop to shop. E.G.: our regular latte has
