 THE MYTH MAKERS.   Written by Donald Cotton.   4 episodes.
                    16th October - 6th November 1965.
                 
 Temple of Secrets, Small Prophet-Quick Return, Death of a Spy,
 Horse of Destruction.

 COMPANIONS:- Vicki, Steven and introducing Katarina.

   The TARDIS lands on the plains near beseiged Troy. The Doctor is taken
 for the God Zeus and taken by Achilles to his camp. Odysseus is sceptical
 and gives the Doctor two days to think of a plan to defeat the Trojans.
 The TARDIS is taken by Paris and Vicki is hailed as a prophetess and given
 the name Cressida. Steven and Vicki are thrown into jail and Vicki is
 given two days to prove her powers.
   The Doctor's plan is to use a wooden horse to enter Troy. The Trojans
 take the horse into the city and the Greeks emerge to capture Troy. Steven
 is wounded in battle and Vicki, who has fallen in love with Troilus,
 decides to stay behind. She asks Katarina to take the stricken Steven back
 to the TARDIS.
