º                       NEW YEAR RESOLVE                                  º

º                       The time has come                                 º

º                       To stop allowing the clutter                      º

º                       To clutter my mind                                º

º                       Like dirty snow,                                  º

º                       Shove it off and find                             º

º                       Clear time, clear water.                          º

º                                                                         º

º                       Time for a change,                                º

º                       Let silence in like a cat                         º

º                       Who has sat at my door                            º

º                       Neither wild nor strange                          º

º                       Hoping for food from my store                     º

º                       And shivering on the mat.                         º

º                                                                         º

º                       Let silence in.                                   º

º                       She will rarely speak or mew,                     º

º                       She will sleep on my bed                          º

º                       And all I have ever been                          º

º                       Either false or true                              º

º                       Will live again in my head.                       º

º                       For it is now or not                              º

º                       As old age silts the stream,                      º

War of the World TV series

THE PREMISE: Last year, I attended a Science Fiction convention during which I discovered (along with other things) that the makers of the recently-demised TV series War of the Worlds, had a scene in the very first episode, where the original Martian war machines were found mouldering in a LA warehouse.  For fun, the special effects folk labeled one of the boxes in the warehouse 'Ark of the Covenant', indicating that it was the SAME warehouse where the Govt.  hid everything that folks were not to know about.  Recently, I decided to try to use this warehouse in a role-playing game, for fun.  I've been trying to figure out things that should be in some of the boxes.  I'...
