Romulan Warbird frozen in the act of firing on it]
[ Troi and Picard observing... ]
Troi (shocked): My god...
LEAVING THE ENTERPRISE FROZEN IN THE MIDDLE OF A DEVASTATING ATTACK.
[ Picard enters the transporter room, with three Romulans frozen on
the pad, and a transporter technician aiming a phaser at them]
[ Troi enters Sickbay, to find it overrun with Romulans,
including one who has just fired a weapon at Beverly]
[ Picard and Troi conferring ]
Troi: Doctor Crusher has been hit by a disruptor
blast at point-blank range.
NOW, A RACE BEINGS TO RESCUE THE PAST...
[ Picard, Troi, and Data activate field-generating arm bands ]
[ Data and Picard in a room filled with (frozen) smoke ]
Data: The explosion has already occurred.
...BEFORE AN ENEMY AWAKES.
[ Geordi (wearing an armband), and a Romulan fighting on the Warbird ]
...AS THE CLOCK TICKS TOWARDS ANNIHILATION
[ The Enterprise Conn console explodes, throwing its operator down ]
[ Picard, standing in front of Troi and Data ]
Picard (frantic): Nooo!
[ Looking out a Shuttlecraft window, Picard sees the Enterprise explode ]

[ Data, clenching his fist ]
Data: I got angry.
NOW, WILL HE BECOME A VICTIM OF TEMPTATION...
[ A Borg talking to Data ]
Borg: Did it feel good to kill?
...AND JOIN FORCES WITH THE GALAXY'S GREATEST ENEMY?
Data: Yes...
[ On the Bridge, Worf quickly zaps three Borg with his phaser ]
[ Data watches as a Borg fires on an Enterprise crewman ]
