Helpful Hints:
Defense: Choose Long, and then the Nickel Defense.
Choose the Safety (S on the play screen) on the weak side
of the offense (the place where there is no defender).
Then when the ball is put into play, apply the Turbo
boost to your player, break through the line and sack the
quarterback. You can build points and money quickly (by
sacking the quarterback in the end zone) if you can do
this correctly!
Offense: Choose Pass, and then choose Runaway.
If the defense is playing close, you can easily gain
yardage by throwing the ball to the square on the left.
If the defense is playing back a little, and that square
looks like it is going to be covered, pass to the square
on the right. If you can get this play down, not only
will it help you gain extra yardage, but during the
conversion try, you will be able to make 1 point every
time!
When kicking the ball off:
Choose the safety on the right, and move up to about mid-
field. Right as you cross the mid-filed line, apply the
Turbo boost to your player. When the turbo boost runs
out, move to the left and find a hole in the defense.
Cut through that hole, and hit the ball carrier.
When receiving the ball:
Wait for your receiver to catch the ball in the end zone.
Then, cross the goal line, and immediately cut right.
Head to the sidelines and head up on the field. Then, if
you make it this far, cut to the left when you cross the
50-yard line. If you do this right and have the right
speed, you will be able to take the ball in for a score
every time!
