MICKEY MOUSE IN THE CASTLE OF ILLUSION

Round 1:  The Enchanted Forest

Round 1, Level 1:

Walk to the right.  To beat the flowers, time it so you 

miss their shots, then do the jumping attack on them.

Round 1, level 2:

Walk to the right and go past four holes.  Then, jump 

into the next hole to find a secret item bag.  Get out of 

the hole by jumping to the left, then continue to the 

right.  When you reach a steep hill, run down it, to the 

ditch at the bottom.  Stand in the ditch until the apple 

passes, then go right to the exit.

Round 1, Level 3:

There are several ways to get through this round.  There 

is a secret star at the bottom of this round.  It is hard 

to get, so try until you can get it.

Round 1, Level 4:

Start off by going up in the first tree you see.  Go 

right, once you have made it to the top, bouncing off the 

ghosts.  Once you have reached the tall tree with the 

items, pick them up, and drop down to the left.  Enter 

the hole, and move left to find a secret room.  Then, go 

out of the hole, and back up the tree.  Continue right 

until you see a hole in the side of the mountain (there 

are two, so start off at the top one).  Follow the maze 

through, picking up all of the items.

Round 1, Level 5:  Tree Boss 

Stand on the left hand side of the screen, and jump over 

the face.  Then, move to the right and use the bounce 

attack on the stump.  Then, move back to the left hand 

side of the screen and repeat the procedure.

Round 2:  Toyland

Round 2, Level 1:

Make your way up.  You will find the key needed to exit 

at the top of several sets of stairs.  Be sure to take 

the other blocks you see to pick up secret items.  Once 

you grab the key, the stairs will go away, leaving 

sloping slides.  Try to pick up all the diamonds you can, 

some of them are hard to see.  To reach some of them, you 

might need to run down the slide, and jump right at the 

bottom of the slide.

Round 2, Level 2:

Start off by going to the right and jumping on the 

spring.  Then, go left and shoot the middle left yellow 

block to find a secret star.  Then, continue to the left 

and jump on the spring to reach the section above you.  

Go to the right, and once you are at the end, drop down 

to the right and hold right on the Control Pad, to find a 

secret room.  Then, continue down and to the right to the 

jello.  At the end of the jello, jump on the moving 

blocks and continue left to another spring.  Jump on the 

spring and use it to boost yourself up onto the ledge 

above you.  Continue right and jump over the hole.  The 

first set of blocks contains a secret star.  Then, 

continue to the right to find the exit.

Round 2, Level 3:

Try using the up and down arrows to kill the creatures.  

Jump up to the ledge and go to the right and you will 

find two item bags, and one star.  Right after the star, 

there is a secret star (in the blocks).  Continue to the 

right to find the exit.

Round 2, Level 4:  Jack In The Box Boss

Stay ducked down in the left hand corner, until he throws 

springs at you.  Then, jump on the springs and do the 

jumping attack on him, and go to the right.  Do the same 

thing in the right hand corner, and then repeat the 

procedure.

Round 3:  The Storm

Round 3, Level 1:

Drop down the first hole and walk to the left at the 

bottom to find a secret room.  Exit the hole, and 

continue right until you cross the second bridge.  Drop 

down the first hole after the second bridge to find the 

exit.  If you continue all the way to the right, using 

the bounce attack on the fish to get across the extra 

long holes, you will find two secret stars.

Round 3, Level 2:

There are a few ways to get through this round.  Use the 

one that best suits you.  Look out for falling water!  Be 

sure to pick up all the items.

Round 3, Level 3:

Walk to the right and wait for the water to come.  When 

the purple part of the water is all that's left, drop 

down and continue to the next area.  Don't get caught by 

the blue part of the water, or it will take you back 

quite a ways!

Round 3, Level 4:  Totem Pole Boss

Stand on the left hand side of the screen and wait for 

the frog to jump (you will hear a noise).  Once he jumps, 

wait a few seconds and jump to land on him.  Do this 

until all of the Totem Pole is gone.  If you use the 

items against this boss, they will help alot!

Round 4:  The Library

Round 4, Level 1:

Run under the A's and go all the way to the right to the 

milk bottle.  Enter it and you will be in a "candy" 

scene.  Go all the way to the right, until you see a 

floating wafer.  Jump on it and then continue to the next 

wafer.  For extra challenge, try picking up all of the 

items when you are on the wafers!

Round 4, Level 2:

Go left and jump up onto the ledge.  Grab the chain and 

make your way to the left.  Watch for the brown ledge, it 

disappears under your feet.  Continue to the left, and go 

up.  Run to the right, watching out for the falling 

books.  Once past the books, go up and to the left.  If 

you drop into the tea cup, you will find a secret board.  

Once out, jump up and continue up and to the right.  Fall 

down and hold your Control Pad to the right (towards the 

apple).  Continue right to find a black door which leads 

to a secret room.  Once out of the secret room, go left 

to where the apple was, and run down the little hill and 

land in another cup of Tea to find another secret room.  

Once out, continue to the right and enter the milk 

bottle.

Round 4, Level 3:  Dragon Boss

Stand on the middle block and time your jump so that you 

can land on his head, without getting hit.  He is 

sometimes difficult, so keep trying.

Round 5:  The Castle

Round 5, Level 1:

Be sure to pick up all the candles in this round, you may 

need them!  Drop down the second hole and fall all the 

way down.  Use the Knights to bounce up and to the right 

to find a secret room.  Then, go all the way left and run 

past the first set of blocks (don't stop).  When you 

reach the second set of blocks, pause in front of the 

first block.  Then, go left and pause before every other 

block.  

Round 5, Level 1 Continued:

Then go left to encounter another set of blocks.  On this 

one, only the first and last blocks fall.  Drop down into 

the hole and land on the rock.  Jump and you will fall 

all the way down without getting hit.  Then, you will see 

an iron ball.  Jump over it and go up and to the right.  

Then, run down the hill and jump at the last second to 

pick up the items and make it across the purple lava 

(don't forget to hold right on the control pad).  Walk to 

the right and you will be faced with a rock.  Duck down 

in the third hole and wait for the rock to pass.  Once it 

has passed, go up and to the left to find a secret area, 

with items.  Then go right and jump to the right (takes 

perfect timing to make it).  Continue to the right and 

you will come upon another lava pit.  This time, though, 

there will be blocks in the lava.  Jump to the right, 

while avoiding the bubbles, and you will make it.  

Continue to the right, until you see a ledge that starts 

falling once you stand on it.  Right before the ledge 

lands in the lava, jump off of it to the left.  continue 

left, jumping over more lava, and crossing the skull 

bridge.  Once at the hole, drop down to exit.

Round 5, Level 2:

Start off by going up and right, then down and right.  

Then, go all the way right to the exit.  There are secret 

items hidden through out this round, in the different 

areas.

Round 5, Level 3:

Jump on the yellow ledge on the turning wheel, and go 

right to the gears (if the gear is spinning, it won't 

fall.  If they aren't spinning, they will fall when you 

jump on them.).  Then, jump left to the ledge with the 

round presses.  Continue left, avoiding the presses.  

Then, go up and to the right (above the presses), and 

grab the two stars.  Then, go back to the left and up.  

After the last gear, jump on the ledge.  Jump up and to 

the left to find a secret star.  Then, go back to the 

right and jump on the pendulum (takes perfect timing).  

Jump all the way to the right to the ledge, then jump all 

the way left to the ledge with round presses.  Then, go 

left and jump on the gears and get the two stars on the 

right.  Then, go left and up.  Once you are at the top, 

go all the way to the right to find the exit.

Round 5, Level 4:  Giant Boss

Wait for him to show his teeth, then use the jumping 

attack on his head.  Watch him get mad as you start to 

defeat him!

Round 6:  Mizrabel Boss

Round 6, Level 1:

Stand on the left hand side of the screen, on the top 

ledge.  Wait for her to appear and for the fireballs 

surrounding her to shoot away from her body.  Then, fall 

and use the bounce attack on her head.  Repeat this 

procedure until she is defeated.
