ONE MORE TIME!! It'd be nice if this managed to get into the FAQ...
Since everybody has been asking about this place, I have transcribed all
the information from a pamphlet I received after attending the museum.
Please do not flame me for copyright violation or any such silliness; I
am doing the public (and the museum) a favor. Text inside [] is mine.

P.S. On a related note, there was also a videogame exhibit at the
Franklin Institute in Philledelphia, PA which had games from pong up to
the fancy-pants new virtual reality games. Rumor has it that it has
been taken down (to storage? to another museum?)...
P.P.S. I have heard about (but never visited) an area in South New
Jersey called "Ocean City" which, although not containing a musem, has a
mind-boggling collection of golden oldies (pinball and video) in active
service throughout the area. It is *highly* recommended by several
net.gamers.
