Here's a file about a sighting that was observed in Miss.

during the 1960's.

Apollo Program UFO Sighting from 1960's Comes to Light

(Washington State MUFON, March 21, 1988.)  An interesting

UFO report from the 1960's involving the test firing of an Apollo

space program booster rocket recently came to light as a result

of follow-up to the January 21, 1988 Whidbey Island UFO sighting.

Dan MacIndoe of Oak Harbor, Washington received many phone calls

from other UFO witnesses as a consequence of reporting his UFO

sighting to a local radio station and giving out his phone

number.  One of them was from Paul J. Allen of Snohomish,

Washington, who told him of his encounter with a UFO while

working for GE/NASA in the summer of either 1966 or 1967.

A quality control inspector working for General Electric at

the NASA Mississippi Test facility at the time, Mr. Allen was at

work during the first captive test firing of the second stage,

Saturn IV-B rocket.  He doesn't recall the exact date but he

believes it was probably during the summer of either 1966 or

1967.  [The date should be easily obtainable from archived

historical records of the Space program.]

At approximately 11:00 p.m. he stepped outside the Data

Processing Center building for a smoke and to view the test

firing.  He noticed a bright light approaching rapidly from the

east, which he took to be a light from a plane at first.  However,

it approached the Test Facility at an unbelievable speed, slowing

over the Saturn V-B test stand before continuing on towards the

Saturn IV-B test stand, whereupon it stopped and stood over the

exhaust blast from the test firing for a minute to a minute and a

half.  He described the UFO as 200 feet in diameter.  It hovered

at 3,000-5,000 feet during the stage 2 captive firing, directly

over the exhaust blast updraft until the firing ended.  Then it

approached at about 30 mph, came over the data processing

center for about another minute, and left travelling almost

straight up.

Mr. Allen states there were 19 people who witnessed the UFO

where he stood and another 9 to 11 people on the roof of the

Control Facility Building, who had been filming the test firing

and also saw it.  No pictures of this test firing were ever shown

to his group although they were shown film footage of all other

firings.  They were told that a weather balloon with a flashlight

attached had been the cause of the UFO report and that was what

they had seen.  They were also told that if they discussed the

sighting with the public they would lose their jobs.

A complete report of this sighting is being sent to MUFON

national headquarters and to CAUS.

Hi Don ..

 > (Forwarded from ParaNet General)

 > A stunning new development in the mystery of the
 > English wheatfield circles has come to our attention.

The circles have turned up in Saskatchewan as well. I posted the following
in the UFO echo last week, but for some reason there has been no reaction:

-----------

Some interestng wheat field "circles" have been discovered near
Christopher Lake, Saskatchewan, located approximately 25 miles
northwest of Prince Albert.

On August 29th, several people in the area spotted an unidentified
craft described as "flat on the bottom and cone-shaped on top"
flying at low altitude in the area. Little else is known about the
sighting.

The following morning a farmer in the area discovered circular
impressions, with the stalks flattened clockwise in one of his
wheat fields. The impressions are almost identical to those found
in England recently. The circles are perfectly symmetrical,
complete with rectangular spokes away from the circumferences.
Closer examination showed the base of the stalks to be bent flat,
but unbroken. Several smaller circles were also observed close by,
bearing the same appearances except for a counter-clockwise
flattening of the stalks.

The field has been visited by a number of local and outside groups
who, for the most part have ruled against this being a hoax.

A group from the Astronomical Society in Saskatoon has visited the
area and taken soil and stalk samples to the university of
Saskatchewan for analysis.

If anyone wishes more information on the incident, here are the
contacts:

Doug Millington, who has taped interviews with several people who
have viewed the circles and one with a person who actually sighted
the craft, can be reached at the Canadian Broadcasting Corp,
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan - 306-956-7400.

Darryl Roth, a farmer and publisher of the newspaper at
Christopher Lake can be reached at 306-982-3117.

For information regarding the wheat and soil samples, contact Don
Friesen in Saskatoon at 306-343-1136.

If you missed it in UFO, I thought you might like the information.

UFO's and the Occult Reich

Many civilizations with "flying saucers" exist, and are hidden inside
this planet. Beings which generate out of their own thought, various
craft are among us. There are also the UFO craft that are built by
surface cultures. All these are linked together in various ways.
Most all of these are OCCULT (hidden)...and most are "messengers  of
deception". In 1867, Wentworth Little founded the English Rosicrucian
Society. He was in contact with the German Rosicrucians. Little
recruited his followers, up to 144 people, from the ranks of the
higher-ranking "Freemasons".  One of his disciples was Bulwer Lytton,
who was a learned man celebrated throughout the world for his novel
"The Last Days of Pompeii". He also wrote "The Coming Race" (Zanconi)
which featured a mystical pre-Nazi group in Germany. This Berlin group
called itself the "luminous lodge", or "Vril Society" Vril (like the
force) has enormous energy potential. The book describes a race of men
physically far in advance of surface humans.
They have acuired powers over themselves and over all material
objects. They lived in caves and would emerge to reign over the
surface world. The most prominent member of the Vril Society was Karl
Haushofer, a close confidant of Hitler, Hess and Ro
senburg, who all belonged to the Thule Society (Thule Gesellschaft)
that was founded in Munich in 1918. Thule was a neo-Gnostic racist
group, which became a rallying front for the societal roots of Nazi
thought. The chief architect of the Thule group
was Baron Rudolf von Sebottendorff (Rudolf Glauer) who had direct
contact with the Dervish Orders and knew a great deal about Islamic
mysticism, particularly Sufism in all its aspects. He also had contact
with Herman Pohl, leader of the German Order
Walvater of the Holy Grail. Nazi occultism was a mixture of
influences and a host of interrelated secret societies, including the
Bavarian Illuminati, the Knights Templar, the Teutonic Knights, the
Holy Vehm, the Golden Dawn, the Rosy-Cross, the Vri
l Society, the German Order and its offshoot, the Thule Society.
Thule is known as the capital of Hyperbortea, in the polar regions.
Also known as "Ultima Thule", it was the gateway to other worlds. It
was known to serve as both a place to leave the earth and a place on
the rim of the opening to the "hollow earth".
It is interesting to note that the major powers of the earth have
microwave stations set up in the area, broadcasting ELF waves on
brain-wave freqencies. Tradition has it that hyperboreans were in
contact with various "alien cultures". War supposedly
broke out between the Hyperboreans and other civilizations
(atomic war). Descendants of the Thule caste (Celts) emigrated
elsewhere to other areas of the planet. They colonized these areas,
driven by "memory chromosomes" inherited from their space-
traveling ancestors. These star seed people are mostly of Celtic
origin (Basues, Irish, English, Norsemen, Icelanders, Betons,
Spaniards and Portuguese) which, strangely enough, make up the largest
percentage of RH-NEGATIVE blood types. Current neo-Nazis are
allegedly trying to locate and control these people.
Apparently, most contactees have RH- blood type. Are UFO cultures
tracking their own "cross-breeds"?
The Grand Lodge of Vril was seeking to re-unite the ancient Aryan
traditions and to make contact with the original super-human "luminous
race" and to make an alliance with beings who have secret sanctuaries
hidden inside the planet. The book "UFOs
 - NAZI SECRET WEAPON?" by Mattern-Friedrich brings out some
intresting information, It seems that Victor Schauberger (1885-1958)
invented a number of "flying disks" for the Nazis between 1938 and
1945. He lived in the United States after the war, wh
ere he was reported to be working on a top secret UFO project in Texas
for the US Government. Reports of aryan looking saucer pilots are
many. Long haired blond folks that speak German. It is interesting to
note that the so-called "venusian" saucer
design of contactees all look like German saucer designs.
The Thule Society is still alive in the minds of neo-Nazi (Fourth
Reich) occulists.  There is a booklet going around that reports to be
the secret log of Admiral Richard Byrd. In 1978, copies were sent out
by the Hollow Earth Research Society in O
ntario, Canada. Ivan Boyes, its director, claims that "after the war,
the allies discovered that over 2,000 scientists from Germany and
Italy had vanished along with almost a million people to the Land
beyond the pole. This is apparently what Admiral
Byrd's expedition was all about. To hunt them down. The domain of the
Arianni. The "Flugelrads" (wingwheels) were noted in the secret log as
being sent to the surface world to investigate the first nuclear
explosions. These were the model T's of the
German saucer design. Do we have a myth in the making? So ... Adm.
Byrd goes back and tells the pentagon and the President what he has
seen. They order him to be silent.
It seems that the inner earth cavern civilizations and the lands
inside the earth have been a part of the occult/military secret for a
long time.

We, because of the infinitesimal size of the Universe, can
quite easily say that the probability of the Earth being
the only planet inhabited by intelligent beings is not
logical.  However, while there is research going on today
in order to prove the existence of extraterrestrial
intelligence (SETI) by listening in on the radio waves of
space, I wonder; have we been contacted already? Is there
something in the UFO phenomenon that proves the existence
of extraterrestrials? Let's look at the facts.  Thousands
of people from all around the world report the sightings of
strange aerial phenomenon every year. It has been going on
for many years, but not as much as from 1947 to present.

Due to the fact that so many  people have seen objects in
the sky that they can't identify, we could at least admit
that there is sufficient reason to believe that UFO's
exist. We can't scientifically prove their existence just
based on that fact but we can't ignore it either. So our
next logical step would be to get more data.  Is the origin
of all UFO's extraterrestrial? Is there a possibility that
at least some may come from Earth and Earth technology? The
answer to that question is yes, some are Earth originated.

People can easily mistake a plane or helicopter flying
at night as a UFO and have already. Some even thought that
Venus was one. However, while most UFO's could be
explained, there are an astonishing number of reports that
cannot. They include reports from people such as police
chiefs, scientists, pilots, and most interestingly,
astronauts. There is plenty of information publically
available that is reputable about details of their
encounters. Our next step should be to concentrate on these
unexplainable sightings. Out of these, is it still possible
that the object could come from Earth? Dr. Renato Vesco
thought so. In his book Intercept UFO, he writes about his
experience and information with Nazi Germany. I am going to
include a paper written by him but first let me tell you
 his credentials.

Renato Vesco is a fully liscensed aircraft engineer
and a specialist in aerospace and ramjet developements. He
attended the University of Rome and, before WWII, studied
at the German Institute for Aerial Developement. During the
war, Vesco worked with the Germans at the Fiat Lake Garda
secret installations in Italy. In the 1960's, he worked for
the Italian Air Ministry of Defense as an undercover
technical agent, investigating the UFO mystery.

He writes:   "On November 27, 1944, a B-27 of the
United States Air Force, returning from a raid on Speyer,
West Germany, encountered a huge, orange colored light
moving upward at an estimated speed of 500 MPH. When the
pilots reported, sector radar had reported negatively,
because nothing had registered on the screen.  But the
object seen by the returning bomber was only the first of
numerous others spotted by American pilots over wartime
Germany and promptly baptized 'foo-fighters.' Fighter
pilots Falls and Backer. of the 415th Squadron, reported
such an encounter a month later forcing the Air Force to
admit that such objects might exist. Later encounters with
foo fighters led experts to assume they were German
inventions of a new order employed to baffle radar. How
close they came to the truth, they learned only when the
war was over and Allied Intelligence teams moved into the
secret Nazi plants. The foo-fighters seen by American
pilots were only a minor demonstration, a fraction of a vast
variety of methods used to confuse radar and interrupt
electro magnetic currents.  Work on the German anti-radar
Feurball, or fireball, had been speeded up during the fall
of 1944 at a Luftwaffe experimental center near
Oberammergau, Bavaria. There, and at the aeronautical
establishment at Weiner Neustadt, the first fireballs were
produced. Later, when the Russians moved closer to Austria,
the workshops producing the fireballs were moved to Black
Forest. Fast and remote controlled, the fireballs, equipped
with klystron tubes and operating on the same frequency as
Allied radar, could eliminate the blips from screens and
remain practically invisible to ground control. The Nazi
Feurball failed to interfere with the Allied air offensive.

The foo fighters had been launched too late and could no
longer change the course of events, but in themselves they
were significant not only because they were the outcome of
a technical evolution which could have led to more
dangerous weapons, but also because they showed that Nazi
technology had moved in a direction far beyond anything
expected by Allied Intelligence. As the fall of Germany
approached, the Nazi Leaders reverted to an ambitious
project created by Gauleiter Franz Hofer who had become
high commissioner for the Italian Tyrol and the Southern
Alps. The project foresaw setting up an incredible fortress
in the mountains, including parts of Italy, Austria and
Bavaria. Hofer submitted his plan to Hitler's aide, Martin
Bormann in November 1944, but he had prepared for this
moment back in 1938 when Nazi agents carefully mapped all
mountain passes, caves, bridges, highways, and located
sights for underground factories, munitions dumps, arms and
food caches. To complete work on this fortress, Hofer
demanded a slave labor force of a quarter of a million- 70%
Austrian workers and 30% men of the Tyrolese home guard.

So-called U-Plants were to be set up underground as
gigantic workshops and launching pads for the secret
weopons which were to turn the tide of the war in favor of
the Nazis. Among these were some 74 tunnels along Lake
Garda, in Northern Italy, which were to be adapted and
transformed into a vast assembly plant by FIAT of Turin in
close collaboration with the department of Minister Albert
Speer. Seven other tunnels along Lake Garda, near Limone,
were to produce several weapons tested at the Hermann
Goering Institute of Riva del Garda.According to the
archives of the German High Command and of the Allied
Combined Intelligence Objectives Sub-Committee, other plants
in vital areas of Central Germany, code named M-Werke, were
to produce powerful missles such as the giant A.9/A.10
destined to destroy New York and Washington. But most
important was the Alpine area, for it was from there
that the supreme weapons were to come. This report, never
released by the Allies, was made by a French diplomat.

It was forwarded to Free French Intelligence
Headquarters at Algiers. The top secret report reffered to
the blue clouds as something approaching anti-aircraft
projectiles based on the grisou (fire damp) gas found in
mines, and which had been succesfully tried against other
bombers over Lake Garda. The French report was intercepted
by Italian agents and deciphered at SID (Italian Counter
-Intelligence) Headquarters at Castiglione della Stiviere.
The message was later captured by a military intelligence
team operating for the eighth Army in Italy.  The contents
of the message was no novelty to the Allies. Already, some
time ago, shortly after the bombing of Dresden, British and
American intelligence had obtained a brief account
concerning the use of some such weapon used against a group
of twelve American bombers. That message, which came from
an agent in Switzerland attached to Allen Dulle's team,
also stated the attacker had been a "strange hemispherical
object which flew at fantastic speeds and destroyed the
bombers without using firearms.' Then, after the German
surrender in May, 1945, a team of British agents,
investigating the files of some of the underground
factories in Black Forest, discovered that a large number
of documents concerned 'important experiments made with
liquid oxygen for new turbine engines capable of developing
 extraordinary power.'

Other documents described the use of 'gaseous explosives'
which had been originally tested in Austria in 1936. Their
existence was later confirmed by the ALSOS Mision and by
Dr. Hans Friedrich Gold, of the Laboratory for Aeronautical
Research at Volkenrode. The ejection of gas explosives had
been part of the program tackled by researchers on Lake
Garda and later tested with success by the circular flying
 object against Allied bombers.

This object, in German military files, already had an
 operational name: 'Round Lightning' (Kugelblitz).
Long and close observation between the special Air Research
Corps of the SS, Austrian research centers in Vienna, the Hermann
Goering Works and the vast complex of underground G-Works
had previously produced amazing improvement on the fireball
 or foo-fighter which, despite it's anti-radar
effectiveness, remained comparatively harmless. But by
combining the principle of the aircraft with a round,
symetrical plane with direct gyroscopic stabilization,
employing an ejector-gun using grisou and a gelatinous
organic/metallic fuel for a total reaction turbine,
adding remote control, vehicle take off, infrared seeking
equipment and electrostatic firing systems, the harmless
 fireball became the lethal Kugelblitz!

Believe me, I can prove what I say. The Kugelblitz, to
be on the safe side, employed, in addition to it's
electrostatic firing system, a similar system based on
short waves and built by the Patent Verwertungs
Gesselschaft of Salzburg, Austria. The whole thing formed
one compact, round mass which had absolutely nothing in
common with any flying object ever produced before.

In documents found by British Intelligence teams and
submitted to the British Intelligence Objectives Sub
-Committee-documents which I have been able to study-these
and many other details are known. They can be found in the
Sub-Committee's Final Report Number 61 on the 'Weapons
Section of the L.F.A., Volkenrode.'Kugelblitz, together with
it's "younger brothers of the fireball, lens shaped bomb
and other weapons, began the real history of the UFO's.
In itself, it was a second generation fireball. The 'round
lightning' weapon, the incredibly fast and mysterious
disk-shaped craft that had been rumored and sighted in
action, was used only once. As the Allied forces crossed
the Rhine, the only craft of it's type was destroyed by the
SS on instructions from Berlin, to prevent it's capture.

But ever since, due to the severe censorship imposed by 'T'
force of the British Army in Germany, and later, thanks to
the complete blackout imposed by London, nothing more was
heard of Round Lightning. I know that agents of the 'T'
force camp at Bad Gandersheim closely examined the
documents found in the G-Works, documents which had been
elaborated by the technical general staff of the SS and by
technical control of the Henshel and Zeppelin works. These
documents concern the propulsion unit of the Kugelblitz
prototype built by the Kreislaufbetrieb Motor D.W. in 1943
for the F.F.K.F. (Forschungsinstitut for Kraftfhart and
 Fahzeugmotoren) at Stuttgart-Untertuerkheim and perfected
by professors Kamm and Ernst. The British called this
motor an 'oxygen recycle system.' It was later abandoned
in favor of the Walter turbine, powered by hydrogen
peroxide. The documents found discussed the possibility of
using both systems in a compound-type propulsion unit.  To
these basic facts, I must add: A mass of documents and
equipment were taken by British 'T' teams to Bedford and
then to Canada and Australia. In a certain sense, the
British were more intelligent than the Americans, for they
permitted German scientists to complete their work in
Germany on the sight where they had worked all through the
war-only, of course, under close supervision. This happened
at Darmstadt and Goettingen. Later on, these installations
were dismantled and shipped to Britain. The Transport
Service of the British Ministry of Aviation discreetly
shipped the scientists and documents to Britain, Canada and
 Australia, in successive phases.

Lists of the scientists to be sent overseas had been
compiled in the spring of 1944 by the B.I.O.S. and formed
separate and specialized teams. One such team, composed of
Professor Ben Lockspeiser and W.J. Richards, Dr. S.H.
Hollingdale and Captain A.D. Green, handled 'advanced
projects, missles, jet and turbine craft.' Another,
including T.A. Taylor and M.A. Wheeler, investigated German
advances in the field of Thermo-refraction. Another team,
which obtained the services of Dr. Ernst Westermann, former
director of the F.D.R.P. Institutes of Speyer and
Saarbrucken, concentrated on the fireball projects. The
then Ministry of Aircraft Production, similar to the German
wartime Jaegerstab, ceased to exist officially on March 31,
1946, amd became part of the Ministry of Supply. In the
years that followed, these teams, and especially the
experts headed by Professor Lockspeiser, worked on a
multitude of German projects, adapting these to their own
experiments in the field of 'suction' wings and on the work
of two German scientists during the war, Professors Prandtl
and Busemann, to develope a high speed fighter in which the
air intake along the wings was discharged through a
half-moon-shaped crescent along the fuselage in order to
both drive and support the vehicle at high speeds. This
research comes to mind when one remembers the incident of
January 3, 1956. A cessna, employed on a job of aerial
photography near Pasadena, encountered three circular
flying objects which circled it at a speed of 1600 mph and
at a distance of two miles. One of these objects, in
suddenly breaking away from the formation, gave off a long,
vaporous trail as it sped through a cumulous cloud, cutting
the cloud in two. 'Exactly as if it had sucked up the
cloud.,' the Cessna pilot exclaimed later.Back in 1946, the
British Broadcasting Corporation announced that Britain
'would soon have aircraft capable of speeds well over 1000
mph, that, according to some experts, such craft had
already been built and that, in the near future, they could
circumnavigate the globe several times because they needed
only fuel for take off and landing..' Other British sources
mentioned aircraft capable of speeds of several thousand
miles an hour.More than twenty years have passed since the
otherwise so-eminently-careful BBC boasted of 'Britain's
planes of the future,' and officially these aircraft still
remain little more than a dream. And yet, did not Ben
Lockspeiser, the man who was in charge of the most
responsible 'T' teams, declare that 'such craft would need
no fuel?' Did he not imply  that such craft would gain
their own propellant from the atmosphere by suction and
expulsion?  On June 26, 1953, an intensely luminous flying
object majestically crossed the night sky of Albacete,
Spain, at an altitude of 60 miles. In Britain, scientific
papers produced by members of the 'T' teams showed
suggestive titles such as 'Boundary Layer Flow Over a
Permeable Surface Through Which Suction is Applied' (J.H.
Preston), 'The Aerodynamics of Porous Sheets' by G.J.
 Taylor, and Pankhurst's Aerofoil Catalogue.

In 1959, aeronautical engineer N.S. Currey wrote:
'Canada today must be counted among the most advanced
aeronautical powers in the world,' and added cautiously,
'This refers above all to the field of jet propulsion.'The
Canadian Department of Mines and the Technical Surveys
Mapping Branch reserved a vast area-125,000 square miles
-for production of experimental aircraft. This was one of
the decisions reached by the committees of the Commonwealth
Conference on Aeronautical Research. This desolate, heavily
woooded and mountainous region between British Columbia and
Alberta, with the Peace River district as it's Northern
frontier and Washington State to the South, was an ideal
location-few and easily controlled roads, few settlements,
few railroads, but good communications in the north and
the south via the trunk line from Prince George to Edmonton
and that from Vancouver to the United States border, and
only one major highway, to Alaska.

Britain already had considerable wartime experiance in
this sort of enterprise. In 1942, at the height of the
German raids, the RAF had set up five secret airports in
the very heart of the New Forest, in Hampshire. The big
thing about these installations was the fact that they
included complete industrial plants, decentralizing major
groups essential for war production. They were called
'shade workshops.' The Germans, too, had much experience in
this field. One of their major plants at Volkenrode
resisted all attempts at aerial identification throughout
the war.Neither the British nor the Americans, on an
official level, saw eye to eye in scientific matters at the
close of the war against Germany and afterward. The United
States' refusal to share atomic secrets with
Britain was never quite forgotten in Whitehall, and Britain
set out to prove, with Canada, that she was well able to
produce her own fission bomb. If Congress steadfastly
accused the British of giving little or nothing in return
for information, the British felt they had been mistrusted
and severely neglected. They preferred to go ahead with
their plans in Canada. The fact that the area has been
photographed again and again by high altitude
reconnaissance planes, both U.S. and Russian, does not
perturb the Canadian or British authorities. The plants and
saucer ports are underground, hidden in primeval forests of
Columbia. The question immediately arises: Why have not
Britain and Canada made such craft available to their other
partners in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization? I
believe there may be many answers to such a question, but
one of the main points is this: Lack of confidence and fear
of being exploited remain rife among the nations, as they
are among people. And why should not Britain and her
Commonwealth partner retain one major trump card which, one
day, may become invaluable? The pooling of scientific
secrets is rarely entirely sincere. All the evidence, all
the know how of British scientists before and during
the last war, combined with the astounding progress in
propulsion and the discoveries in suction aircraft of the
Germans, based on 18 years of research into the most secret
documents of the past war, have convinced me of one thing:

The flying saucers do not come from space. They come
from a few hundred miles outside the United States. They
mean no harm, and Washington knows this. Hence the long
standing order to all U.S. Air Force pilots: Intercept--but
do not fire upon." This article, which appeared in Argosy
Magazine in August, 1969, is reprinted above in it's
entirety. It is important because it is one of the
few reports that goes into detail about the revolutionary
technical advancements made by the Nazi's in the field of
 aeronautical research.

Unfortunately, Vesco doesn't offer any real
substantiation for the existence of the Kugelblitz, which
is the crux of his subject. However, in his book Intercept,
UFO, he tells us that the Kugelblitz was indeed tested some
time in February, 1945 over the great underground complex
 at Kahla, in Thuringia.

Both the Kugelblitz and the Feurball were then destroyed
by the retreating S.S. So, could this story be considered
fact? We have to take into consideration a number of
issues. First and foremost, there is the Nazi's.Could they
have been developing craft of such advancement? History has
it that not only were they at war, which required much in
the way of manpower, but they took on incredible projects
such as constructing huge underground complexes at
Nordhausen in the Harz mountains, Pennemunde and others.
They also had their Naval Vessals provide support for a
very detailed study of the Antartic in which they were
alleged to have been building underground bases there as
well. General Heinrich Himmler, the Reichsfuhrer as his
S.S. men would call him, was quite frankly, a madman. He
believed in obediance, controlled breeding and vivisection
of humans. He believed in biological mutation and what
could be produced with it. He used the slaves for his work
force, as well as specimens for research. Let's discuss
this possibility more in the message boards in Paranet and
the UFO echos. I am starting to get quite tired of the
theory that UFO's and related matters, are
extraterrestrial. It is being shoved down our throats by
figures like "Falcon" and "Condor" as well as articles in
Paranet like MUGGER.DOC and PICNIC2.DOC. As a matter of
fact, that is about all I hear anymore. It seems that since
we want to hear about EBE's, the so-called, Intelligence
Community, is giving us just what we want to hear. I call
on each and every person in the UFO community to research,
in debth, HUMAN history. In particular, great scientists
 such as, Tesla and his experiments; Einstein's theories;
Germany's secret weapons of the Second World War by R.
Lusar; the Philadelphia Experiment; Admiral Byrd's Project
Highjump; books and periodicals about Nazi Germany and
their interest in Antartica; then tell me that the
possibility of technology (Earth Technology) could not
possibly exist that could explain UFO's and the reason why
it is above top secret documents of the past war, have
convinced me of one thing: The flying saucers do not come
 from space.

In my opinion it is as simple as this: after the war, in the '40s and '50s, our
government was working with nazis brought over to this country, on a wide
variety of aircraft.  Some of them were rocket powered and some of them were
saucer shaped.  The flight time of the saucer planes was very short and they
were dangerous to operate in that they were hard to control and land (like the
famous egg-shaped Me-163, which they may have been derived from; the Russians
captured every single Me-163 at the end of the war, though).  Apparently
several of the experimental saucer planes crashed, resulting in the death of
pilot(s).  In the end they were deemed to be of little military value so the
whole project was abandoned.  However, by that time the "UFO flap" had begun,
and to avoid being discredited the details of the project were never released.
No conspiracy is involved; it's just that even thirty years later, a lot of
officers would not want to be associated with working on "flying saucers" with
nazis, months after the end of the war,  and getting nothing accomplished
except for the deaths of American test pilots.

The face can be a real true face, up and up, and STILL not provide proof of
alien visitors.  You both forgot one other possibility: WE left it there.

A long time ago, there would have been a civilization here capable of space
travel.  They got as far as colonizing Mars.  Some of the colonies erected
various monuments, and extensive subterranean structures that will only be
(re)discovered at the time of the first manned missions.

Some disaster took place that wiped out the Earth civilization and caused the
budding colony to wither away from lack of support at home.  The only few
scattered remains are vague legends of Golden Ages, lost civilizations,
fragments of maps purporting to show the Americas and Antartica minus its
ice shelf.

>For that matter, who said they had to travel "untold numbers of light
>years" to get to Mars?  Maybe they were local boys.

You're getting close :)

Not that I necessarily believe this (unless I happen to be harboring secret
information passed along in our secret society descended directly from this
age :) ), but you have to take EVERYTHING into account, no matter how unlikely
it sounds ... sorta like old Sherlock used to say.

Not true.  The Smithsonian's Air and Space Museum has a Me-163B out at
the Garber Facility in Suitland, MD.  I've seen it.  I don't know if
it's really accurate to describe the Me-163 as "egg-shaped", though.
From the side the fuselage is sharply tapered, but I'd describe it
as bullet-shaped.  It has swept wings and a vertical stabilizer.
While it had a slightly unusual configuration for an airplane (no horizontal
tail surfaces), the Me-163 didn't rely on any exotic aerodynamics to
fly.  An egg or saucer-shaped aircraft, on the other hand, would.

Reincarnation and Biofeedback at their Conclave of Light Celebration in

did a  past life channeling for me and said I was part of the big project.
When I can find it and scan it I will post the channeling. They bought 14

PARIS MATCH is a slick French weekly something like a classy cross between
TIME and PEOPLE MAGAZINE. It is very widely read and something of a journalis-
tic institution. Although the reader can count on the latest gossip concerning
Charles and Lady Di, each issue also contains serious coverage of political and
scientific issues.
Thanks to the linguistic abilities of my wife, I have translated an aston-
ishing article that appeared in the July 5, 1990 issue. This recounts a series
of sightings of a UFO over Belgium. There were thousands of witnesses, and the
object was tracked simultaneously by two ground radar installations and by the
airborne interecpt radars of two F-16 fighters sent to chase it.
But by far the most significant aspect of this case is that thge Belgium
government released all the data and worked in close cooperation with a civil-
ian UFO research organization. To the best of my knowledge, this is unique in
the history of ufology.
Indeed it is the "political" aspect that prodded me to take the considerable
time and effort to make this translation available to ufologists in the U.S.
Please "network" this document as you see fit, remembering that the article
(but not my translation) is copyrighted.

AN UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECT ON THE RADAR OF AN F-16
     by Marie-Theresa De Brosses

The Belgium Defense Minister authorized us to publish this report. It is the
"scoop of the sky." These two screens (see photos) [The article is referring to
two photos of the radar screens in the F-16 which are derived from an internal
recording device in the plane. Photo one shows the UFO as a diamond on the
screen framed by short vertical lines indictaing that the pilot has instructed
the computer to follow the target. The comparison of the two photos supports
statements by the pilots that the UFO dove from 2,000 meters (7,000 ft) to 00,
indicating that it was below the 200 meter limit on the radar. This occured in
ONE second.] are the incontestable witnesses of a meeting of science & fiction.
In an unprecedented action, the Belgium Air Force has released pictures of the
radar images of UFOs intercepted by the pilots of their F-16 fighters. It was
the precision and clarity of the pictures that convinced the Defense Minister
to order full resources deployed in the gigantic chase of the UFO during the
Easter weekend. PARIS MATCH takes you behind the symbols and numbers of these
exceptional pictures to discover the incredible performance of those flying ob-
jects which are very real but nonetheless unidentified. We may not be the only
ones in the universe.
There are people in the military services who are normally silent on this
subject but who now say: the UFOs are not a myth. On June 22nd, for the first
time in history, an Air Force revealed an important piece of this story which
is not science fiction.
On this day, after going through a meticulous security screening, I find my-
self in the headquarters of the Belgium Air Force near Brussels. In a small
room, Colonel DeBrouwer, Chief of Operations of the Belgium Air Force, started
a video tape recorder. On the screen appeared the film that was brought back in
the "black box" of the F-16 that was launched to chase the UFO. This, it turned
out, was not really the important chase, which would happen two weeks later,
when practically all of Belgium tried to capture the UFO. But until now we were
not told about the one Colonel DeBrouwer was about to describe.
The Belgium military had been on alert since November 1989, when numerous
reports by the Gendarmerie (National police force) began pouring in daily tel-
ling of observations of UFOs above Belgium territory. It had started on the
crazy night of November 29, 1989, during which 30 groups of witnesses, among
them three police patrols, scattered over 800 square kilometers of territory
between Liege and the German/Netherlands border, reported UFOs. All of the wit-
nesses observed for hours a strange triangular object nearly silent, maneuver-
ing at low speed and very low altitude, without creating the least amount of
turbulence.
As do the world's Air Forces, the Belgian  military have at their disposal
supersonic interceptor airplanes ready 24 hours a day to take off with five
minutes notice. In this case we are talking about two F-16 single pilot fight-
ers, armed with missiles. Headquarters was prudent and conservative. During
the previous month the two planes have twice been sent in response to sightings
but without results. The first time they saw nothing. The second instance was
attributed to an advertising searchlight for a night club.
On the night of March 30th, one of the callers reporting a UFO was a Captain
of the national police at Pinson, and Headquarters decided to make a serious
effort to verify the reports. In addition to the visual sightings, two radar
installations also saw the UFO. One radar is at Glons, southeast of Brussels,
which is part of the NATO defense group, and one at Semmerzake, west of the
Capitol, which copntrols the military and civilian traffic of ther entire Bel-
gian territory. The range of the two radars is 300 KM, which is more than e-
nough to cover the area where the reports took place. In this region the land
is fairly flat, rolling country without any prominent hills. The radar has a
perfect  view of all flying objects with an altitude above 200 meters over the
ground. Nevertheless, Headquarters determined to do some very precise studies
during the next 55 minutes to eliminate the possibility of prosaic explanations
for the radar images. Excellent atmospheric conditions prevailed, and there was
no possibility of false echoes due to temperature inversions.
All military and civilian airplanes are equipped with a device called a
transponder which permits their immediate identification on the radar screen in
the form of a coded signal. The radar echo received on that night was like that
of an airplane that was moving at very low speed, about 50 KPH, and frequently
changing direction and altitude. But it did not send any identifying transpond-
er signal.
Naturally, the Belgian Air Force can't permit an unidentified object to fly
over its territory. So at 0005 hours the order was given to the F-16s to take
off and to find the intruder. The lead pilot concentrated on his radar screen,
which at night is his best organ of vision. The F-16 is equipped with very so-
phisticated equipment, including chase radar, which is not fixed directly ahead
of the airplane, but makes a wide search in an arc of 90 degrees left and right
of the nose. Slightly behind the lead fighter, the wingman in the second F-16
followed the movements of the first jet, concentrating on maintaining contact
with the center of coordination of the search.

Suddenly the two fighters spotted the intruder on their radar screens, ap-
pearing like a little bee dancing on the scope. Using their joy sticks like a
video game, the pilots ordered the onboard computers to pursue the target. As
soon as lock-on was achieved, the target appeared on the screen as a diamond
shape, telling the pilots that from that moment on the F-16s will remain track-
ing the object automatically. On the screen is indicated the object's position,
distance and speed. The object was very close to the fighters.
On this portion of the video tape that Col. DeBrouwer has, in such an ex-
ceptional manner, allowed us to see, we can hear the radio exchange of the two
pilots. The emotions of the pilots are clearly perceptible. "Look," the Colonel
tells me stopping the VCR, and showing me the diamond shape on the screen, "At
this stage in the chase in our military jargon it means a successful inter-
ception."
Then I said, in layman's terms, what does a "successful interception" mean?
He answered, "Our fighter planes are armed with automatically self-directed
missiles. Once they are launched internal computers in the missiles intelli-
gently guide the missiles to the target by themselves. Of course, in this case
of the UFO there was no question of doing that. We only wanted to identify the
intruder."
The pilot did not even have time to start this procedure, which requires the
fighter's radar to stay locked on for at least six seconds. But the object had
speeded up from an initial velocity of 280 KPH to 1,800 KPH, while descending
from 3,000 meters to 1,700 meters...in one second! This fantastic acceleration
corresponds to 40 Gs. [A "G" is a unit of acceleration. One G is equivalent to
the gravitational pull of the earth, 9.81 m/sec/sec.] It would cause immediate
death to a human on board. The limit of what a pilot can take is about 8 Gs.
And the trajectory of the object was extremely disconcerting. It arrived at
1,700 meters altitude, then it dove rapidly toward the ground at an altitude
under 200 meters, and in doing so escaped from the radars of the fighters and
ground units at Glons and Semmerzake. This maneuver took place over the suburbs
of Brussels, which are so full of man-made lights that the pilots lost sight of
the object beneath them.
"In any event, it was out of the question for the F-16 to catch up with the
object at this low altitude, where the density of the air limits the speed to
1,300 KPH. Above that speed, the temperature in the compressors of the jet tur-
bines would cause the engines to burst," said Col. DeBrouwer. "There was a
logic behind the motions of the object."
Everything indicates that this object was intelligently directed to escape
from the pursuing planes. During the next hours the scenario repeated twice.
The Commander of the Belgian Air Force gave me a detailed report which had been
produced by the Belgian Society For The Study of Special Phenomena (Sobeps) in
cooperation with the Air Force. [SOBEPS / 74 Avenue Paul-Janson / 1070 Bruxel-
les, Belgium / phone: 19 32 2 524 28 48. Publish quarterly journal INFORESPACE]
The report states: "In three cases the pilots managed to get their radar locked
on the object, with the immediate result that the object's behavior drastically
changed. The object literally played hide and seek with the fighters. It dived
toward the ground to evade the airborne and ground radars. Then it climbed back
into radar range in a liesurely manner, thus initiating a new chase.
This fantastic game of hide and seek was observed from the ground by a great
number of witnesses, among them 20 national policemen who saw both the object
and the F-16s. The encounter lasted 75 minutes, but nobody heard the supersonic
boom which should have been present when the object flew through the sonic bar-
rier. No physical damage was reported. Given the low altitude and the speed of
the object, many windows should have been broken.
So, for the first time in history, a newspaper reporter was allowed to see
a document which established proof of an interception of a UFO by a military
fighter. I have seen on the video screen the flight maneuvers and the extraor-
dinary changes in speed of the UFO.
All the details of this affair are related in the report which has just been
released by Sobeps. This collaboration between the Air Force of a nation and a
private research group is without precedent and must be taken very seriously.
Also, the competence of the civilian researchers is worthy of trust. This group
includes several scientists with excellent credentials such as physicist Leo
Brenig, Professor at the University of Brussels and August Meesen, Professor at
the Catholic University of Louvain, who has belonged to Sobeps since its crea-
tion 18 years ago. On a television interview, Mr. Guy Coeme the Minister of De-
fense, declared that he had authorized the AIr Force to release all information
at their disposal to Sobep.
After having seen this dramatic sequence, I posed a number of questions to
Col. DeBrouwer. First, could the object have been a radiosonde balloon?
"No, the object acted as if it was totally independent of the winds, and we
have done, among other things, a complete review of meteorlogical conditions.
This is why we did not publish the report until now. We wanted to do a complete
study to verify all aspects of the case. Our military defense system is not
prepared for this sort of thing. We had to analyze and interpret the data from
the recording inside the fighters."
Is it a natural phenomenon, or perhaps the debris from rockets or satellites
or space junk? "No, a meteorite or a fragment of a rocket does not enter the
atmosphere in a zig zag fashion. The analysis of the radar traces showed numer-
ous changes in direction, and the atmosphereic conditions that prevailed pre-
cluded any electromagnetic phenomenon as the cause."
But I asked how about the famous F-117 the American Stealth airplane, which
many people think may be responsible? "This airplane is absolutely designed for
penetration at low altitude. On the other hand it has a minimum speed of 278
KPH and the UFOs speed went down to 40 KPH. The F-117 does not have engines
that can be tilted down for very slow speed flight. Also no airplane is capable
of flying at 1,800 KPH or so low to the ground without creating a sonic boom."
Then he gave me a telex sent by the Military Attache of the U.S. Ambassador
to the Commander of the Belgian Air Force confirming that the Stealth airplane
was never stationed on European territory nor did it ever fly over that ter-
ritory.
Professor Jean Pierre Petit accompanied me in my visit to the Belgian Air
Force Headquarters. He once served as a controller for jet interception exer-
cises. Petit is a senior physicist and a director of research with the National
Center for Scientific Research of France. He has recently published a book en-
titled "Investigation of UFOs," published by Editions Albin Michel, and makes
this strong statement:

"In reality, there is no machine made by man either an airplane or a missile
that is capable of such performance. Specifically, flying at the speed of sound
without making a sonic boom. What degree of confidence can we place on this
statement? The same as that in Astrophysics connected with the first detection
of a Supernova in 1987 in the Magellanic Clouds galactic group. Proof of the
existence of this stellar cataclysm we call a Supernova relies on this single
unique observation. I am completely convinced that this type of UFO observation
by radar has already happened many times over the past 30 years either by means
of the sophisticated radar of the F-16 which is typical of that used by the
world's air forces for the past ten years or before that by conventional radar.
And those countries who have had radar contacts have kept the fact in strict
secrecy to avoid public panic."
But what is happening right now, what is the reason for this sudden re-
velation of the truth?
"We are living in a time that is the beginning of a period of opennes. First
the Berlin Wall Crumbled, now the wall of silence about UFOs is falling. Con-
cerning the UFOs we are enterring a phase completely different from the earlier
ones. It is the end of commercialism and fakery. The true scientists are final-
ly making their appearance. Look at the work of Professor Meesen."
"Sobeps has collected more than one thousand eyewitness reports from the UFO
wave over Belgium. One report is especially interesting. On the night of March
31, at a location 30 KM southeast of Brussels, three completely reliable wit-
nesses had a sighting. They were Lucien Clerebaut, Secretary General of Sobeps,
Patrick Ferrym, a Moving Picture Producer, and Jose Fernandez. They observed a
bright luminous light low on the horizon. The light got bigger and closer, and
was seen to be an object of triangular form with rounded angles. It was carry-
ing four spotlights and the periphery of the object had numerous smaller lights
around it. As it passed over their heads at an altitude which they estimated to
be 300 to 400 meters, the object had a diameter six times that of a full moon.
Mr. Ferrym took four pictures of the object with a very high sensitivity film
with an ASA of 1,600. As a control he photographed an ordinary airplane several
minutes later, using the same shutter opening and speed."
"When the film was developed he got a surprise. The position lights of the
airplane were clearly shown on the pictures. But the `spotlights' on the UFO,
which to the naked eye had been much stronger than the lights on the airplane,
were hardly discernible. The general form of the UFO, which had also been
clearly visible, was lost on the film. It should be noted that the UFO was also
much closer to the observers than the airplane."
Recalling that a simple infrared ray can prevent some films from being ex-
posed, Professor Meesen performed an experiment in his laboratory. Using a
prism, he projected directly on unexposed film a spectrum of light, going from
red to purple, superimposing an infrared ray on the lower part of the negative.
When the film was developed, the spectrum of light is perfectly visible in the
portion of the film untouched by the infrared ray but considerably attentuated,
though not completely annihilated, where the infrared light struck the film."
The Professor continued, "If the UFOs are really a physical object, and if
they propagate infrared light, it would be quite normal that photographs would
contain some surprises when they were developed. This could include the total
disappearance of the object that had been observed visually. This would explain
the very low number of pictures that we have received in this UFO wave as well
as the failure to get close up pictures.
Professor Meesen remained very conservative. As a good disciple of the
famous scientist Claude Bernard, he is faithful to the Scientific Method, which
consists of observing facts, then proposing hypotheses to explain the facts and
finally accomplishing experimental verification of the hypotheses. To him it is
absolutley essential to study this enigmatic file of UFO reports: "There are
too many independent eyewitness reports to ignore. Too many of the reports des-
cribe coherent physical effects and there is an agreement among the accounts
concerning what was observed. If all of these witnesses are lying, then it is a
mental disease of such novelty and proportions that it must be studied. But of
course there are also physical effects. The Air Force report allows us to ap-
proach the problem in a rational and scientific way. The simplest hypothesis is
that the reports are caused by extraterrestrial visitors, but that hypothesis
carries with it other problems. We are not in a rush to form a conclusion, but
also to study the mystery."
When I first met Prof. Meesen, he had not yet seen the document that was
shown to me by Col. DeBrouwer. This was the Belgian Air Force report on the
successful interceptions of March 30, which allowed us to understand why the
military had placed at the disposal of Sobep such facilities as the F-16 inter-
ceptors and a twin engine Hawker airplane. The Hawker could carry a large num-
ber of researchers  and many measuring devices, including an enormous infrared
camera. During this eventful weekend, which drew in tens of thousands of wit-
nesses, the military had put top priority on the UFO, but was remaining silent.
They wanted to know more before speaking.
The press was astonished by the "unsuccessful" hunt on this Easter weekend.
But it is all clear now. We could not say that the UFO did not actually meet
us, because there were many observations from the ground. But if the device had
stayed under 200 meters in altitude, it would have been undetectable by radar.
Now the sightings have dribbled off, the witnesses rarer and rarer. But the
questions still remain. How disconcerting this wave of UFO sightings over Bel-
gium! First of all, why Belgium? Why these thousands of witnesses in a six
month period? In previous decades witnesses often described landings, but why
were there no landing reports? Why the triangular shape of the UFO, reported by
more than 90% of the witnesses? At the moment, all of these are questions with-
out an answer.
"For us, the release of this report by the Belgian Air Force and the confi-
dence in us that it bespeaks is the reward for 18 years of work," concluded
Lucien Clerebaut of Sobeps.
Regardless of the frustrating irregularity of this phenomenon (waves of
sightings mixed with long periods of abscence), and regardless of the sarcasms
of those scientists who are violently hostile to this kind of investigation
which they consider to be a sort of scientific disease, a few eminent scien-
tists such as Professors Meesen, Brenig and Petit continue their methodical
work.
Now is the time to help them.
