It's billed as "the foremost professional magazine for chefs" and it's loaded with numerous full color  photos of gourmet recipes like Black Truffle Polenta With Mascarpone, Wild Mushroom Grits and Smoked Apple Napoleon. Provides concepts and techniques for use by professionals in their kitchens but can easily be adapted to the home front. If you're a gourmet cook, we recommend this classy publication. The price may seem steep, but this resourceful magazine will become a permanent part of your art & cookery library.

We found our copy at Gene's Book Store in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania for $2.95 which is half the cost of the subscription. It's promotional in that they feature a few pages of Indonesian Art and Chinese Porcelain they sell, (at what appears to be very reasonable prices) together with wonderful and colorfully illustrated Asian related culinary articles. We may be getting this one regularly.
