Members of our Group Introducing ( Cyclone & T.T.L.).
-{ Cyclone }-
First some little information about myself, I'am Cyclone Of Questor
the main musician, organizer and po box snail swapper.
On amiga i had more then 100 contacts of different places of this planet,
for example Norway, Sweden, U.K, Polen, Hungary even South Africa
i even still got all the letters of all those nice-(Old)-friends !!
After 7 Years of composing music on different computers, i started on amiga
with the first tracker ever written on computer programmed by Karsten
Obarsky then continued on pc with Fasttracker V2.04.
I never went to compititions before but people that heared my style of
music advised me to go further than just playing my songs in domestic
circles.
Now i'am 22 years old and i took the first step to do deal with the
party multi-channel competition.
I worked more than 2 months on this project, ofcourse not continuesly,
it is a song that begins great and then going on, getting bigger and
better untill the end.
The Hardware i use is one korg 01/Workstation + a cool dance pcm cartridge
and i converted all my amiga samples .
Thats about 28 Disks 880kb formatted filled with smp samples.

-{ T.T.L.}-
I'm T.T.L. of Questor, i am 22 Years old and i joined the group a
half year ago.
My speciality is electronics and helping to fix technical problems
with all kinds of equipment.
I hope to get a more active member of the group in the future !
I also made i nice listing of our groups history (info from cyclone) with
a nice 'Questor'-logo top of it.
It ment to give this listing to some people of other groups,
to get in touch with members of other demo-groups on the PC-Scene.
<----------->
The Wired '95 Party held in bergen (Mons), started at the 3'th untill
the 5'th of November 1995.
Now About the wired multi-channel dissapointment '95:
the party place was really great, i visited lots of party places on amiga
but this one loocked to be good organized, 2 party rooms = 1 dining area
and one seperate basket-hall.
But it took a while before the competitions started , we filled in some
documents at the Info-Desc to join the competition and we also bought
three T-shirts of the wired, only for 300 Bfr.
I prepared my 4-Channel entry, it was a mod of mine unreleased converted
from amiga i made it 5 years ago but it was just to compete with something.
then it was my step to go for the multichannel entry, that was the song i
worked so hard on.
Some people from other groups heared it and they say'd that i'll had a
very good chance.
The instruments where sampled from my Korg Dance PCM-Cardridge.
When i delevered the disks at the info disk, one of the organizers ask'ed
me "Do you really think you have a good chance to win ??" i say'd "no i'am
already happy to compete".
3.00u (a little bit later then according the party shedule).
4 - Channel Compo. started, i saw that there where 12 songs selected and i
thought that mine wouldn't be one of them. (i concentrated on the Multi!!!)
But VERRY surprisingly they played it as number 10 'Lovely Fantasy'.
We left the party after the multi-channel so we don't now the scores
(intresests lost).
Multi - Channel. was started after a delay of 1 hour on 6 O'clock in
the morning.
At 05.55 am we all went to a big hall called 'The Amfitheather' where
the modules where played.
We waited for 30 minutes before they started playing the modules.
Full of excietment we waited until our song would be played !!
But after an hour (18 modules) or so the text "thats all" came on the screen.
We could not believe our eyes !#?
They only played 18 of the 'X' songs !
After the disappointment so far we left the paty-place so we don't know
the results of the 4-Channel module competition.
We find our song good, and we think that a lot of other people also
going to like it with or without wired'95.
UPDATE: A few days later i have heared that one person of the wired'95 staff
hates house and all house-like compositions, so they ignored all those songs
including mine as well so now i have to get it out of me ...
"WIRED MULTICHANNEL COMPETITION SUCKS" whoof ,now i'am sattisfied. (hehe)
A little more about the 'installation' in the room where the songs and
demo's be played:
With a video-projector the computer-screen was pojected on a
cin‚matic-screen in front of the hall.
The quality of the projecection was verry poor, in a dos mode 80x25
it was very diffucult to read the text, some place's of the screen
are compleet out of focus and impossible to read ( I hope they didn'd
use the same screen for the demos in max 640 x 480 x 256 resolution ) !!
The sound quality was also on the poor side;
In front of the hall ( Where the screen was located ) on a podium stoud
4 Loudspeaker-Boxes, this where the only playing loudspeakers #!?
But there where at least 10 good Speakers mounted in the hall, strange ?
In the wired '95 info files they'll promised a superb DOLBY-SURROUND audio-
system but we didn'd experienced much of it !
After the disepointment so far we left the party-place so we don't know
the results of the 4-Channel module competition.
You can comment to this dissapointment in the area Muziek.B & Sound_Corner.B
So we hope you all like this song, and thanks for reading !!
Greetz to all,
from the members of Questor.
