THE WORLDS OF PHANTASY STAR III

DAHLIAMOON Your quest will take you across seven 

Worlds and two Moons:

AZURAMOON

LANDEN

AQUATICA

ELYSIUM

ARIDIA

DRACONIA

FRIGIDIA

TERMINUS

GENERATION 1: RHYS

LANDEN(BEGINNING PLANET)MIEU Go to the Castle, and find 

Maia (your bride) in the Castle. Talk to all the 

villagers in Landen. Go South East to find Yaata.  Talk 

to everyone in Yaata to find out about the Cyborg. Head 

South to Ilan to find more items and weapons, then go 

back North East to find Mieu (the Cyborg). Go back to 

Yaata and find the guy with the boat (he will let you use 

the boat outside of Yaata).  Get in the boat, and take it 

to the island.  On the island is a Cave.  Go through the 

Maze, and find Lyle (who will give you the Sapphire). 

Return to Yaata;  From Yaata head East to a Cave;  Go 

through the Cave to find Aquatica.

AQUATICA(ICE; FIRST VISIT) Head South East to Rysel;  

Talk to everyone.  Exit Rysel;  Go South, then East to a 

place where Broken (Ruined) Cities are.  Walk around this 

place, and you will find a  hidden Maze (straight South 

from the first Broken City). Go through the Maze.

ARIDIA(DESERT)WREN  Once you exit, go around the 

mountains to the Left. Look in the desert for a Red 

Cyborg, (Mium) go South from her to Hazatek and talk to 

all the cyborgs.  Go Left all the way until you see two 

Caves next to each other;  Enter Wren's Cave (the one on 

the right) and find Wren.

GENERATION 1: RHYS CONTINUED

ARIDIACON'TLYLE Return to Hazatek and go South East 

until you see a building that looks like a volcano.  Walk 

into it (this is the Weather Control Tower). Go through 

the Maze and you will meet Lyle (who will join your 

party).  Continue through to find an area with a big 

block like place.  Push button A and Wren will fix the 

Control Towers. Return to Rysel (Aquatica). 

AQUATICA(NOW NORMAL) Talk to all the villagers in 

Rysel, and one will tell you that you can use his boat. 

Exit town and go North to find his boat;  Get on it and 

you will be transported to the island. Go to the first 

city (Agoe) and talk to all the people. Exit the city and 

go North to Shusoran;  Go to the Fountain in the Upper 

Left corner and you will enter a Maze!  Go through the 

Maze and you will find some stairs that take you to the 

first floor of Shusoran Castle. Go through the Castle  

and you will find several sets of stairs.  Take the 

correct set, and go through the maze.  Eventually, you 

will stop and Lyle will leave your party.  Continue on, 

and you will fight him. Lyle's HP vary, depending on how 

many he had when he left your party (Our Game Player was 

at level 15). Once Lyle is defeated, talk to Lena and she 

will join your party. Make your way out of the Maze. 

Return to Aridia.

ARIDIA Go to the Weather Control Tower; there is 

another block like square in the Maze.  Find it and the 

moons will be straightened!  Go to Aquatica.

AQUATICA Return to Shusoran (where you fought Lyle) 

and enter the Castle.  Exit through the gate at the top 

of the Maze and head North and a bridge will appear. Head 

to the city of Cille. In Cille, there are Fountains at 

the top; find the fountain to the Left of the gate (there 

are several fountains that lead to dead ends!). Follow 

the Maze and you will end up in the Castle. Walk around 

the Castle and enter from the South side. Find the King 

and talk to him;  He will fight you! The Kings HP are a 

little over 400 (Our Game Player was at level 20).

GENERATION 2: AYN (RHYS MARRIES MAIA)

AQUATICA Talk to everyone in Cille, Shusoran, and 

Agoe. Cross the sea to Rysel and talk to all the 

villagers. Return to Shusoran and Cille. Talk to the 

remaining villagers, then go to Aridia (through the area 

with the ruined cities, South of Rysel).

ARIDIA (DRAGON'S TEAR) Talk to the cyborgs in Hazatak, 

then head West to Wren's Cave (talk to your family and 

receive the Dragon's Thear). Go to the Cave East of 

Hazatak (Dragon's Thear will enable you to enter) and go 

to Draconia.

DRACONIA(TWIN'S RUBY) Go to Lensol and talk to the 

person on second floor of the Tool Shop. Go North to 

Endra and talk to all the villagers (one tried to rescue 

Thea). Return to Lensol and rescue Thea from the Castle 

dungeon (the Castle gate will now be open). Thea has the 

Twins Ruby.

ARIDIA Return to your family in Wren's Cave, then 

go North to a Cave you can enter with the Twin's Ruby 

(this will take you to Landen).

LANDEN(POWER TOPAZ) Enter Landen Castle through the 

stairs in the Technique shop (going South to dungeon). 

Your party must fight Sari (Lena's daughter) to get her 

to join your party. Sari has the Power Topaz. Then, go to 

Draconia.

DRACONIA Go to the peninsula East of Endra and follow 

it to a dragon who will take you to Techno (just walk 

over the dragon to get him to take you). Find a ship in 

the Castle dungeon that will take you to Azura.

AZURA Find and defeat Siren in the dungeon (her H.P. are 

approximately 1300).

GENERATION 2: NIAL (RHYS MARRIES LENA)

LANDEN Inspect the Castle Dungeon. Head South, 

South-West following the Lake to find a Cave near the 

Southern most point.

ELYSIUM Head South-West from the cave and enter the 

Village blocking the passage way of trees on the 

Peninsula. Talk to all villagers.  Pass through the gate 

and enter the Castle (Divisia).

GENERATION 2: NIAL (CON'T)

ELYSIUM(CON'T) Speak with the rebels in the Palace.  

They have kidnapped Alair, Lune's evil sister. In the 

Dungeon, free Alair.  She will set out to find and stop 

Lune. Exit the Dungeon and talk to the people in the 

Southern part of the city (Divisia).  They talk of rebels 

in a Western Cave. Head West, traveling North and Around 

the long ridge of trees just before the Long Lake, to 

find the Rebel Cave.  In the Cave you will find the Sub 

Parts for Wren. Note: you cannot equip or use any "parts" 

as an item. Find Ryan (the rebel leader);  He has the 

Twin's Ruby and will be your next companion. Return to 

Landen.

LANDEN From Landen, head South-East to find the 

Twin's Ruby Cave. The South-East Cave leads to a cave on 

the North-West portion of Aridia.

ARIDIA From the exit of the Ruby Cave, head South-

East to the Long Lake, to a depression in the River just 

under the Village of Hazatak.  Wren will change into a 

Sub at the Lake. The Sub will take you to an Underground 

World. Head West and enter one of the Layan Temples.  You 

will find Laya (The Legendary Laya's little sister).  

Laya will join your party. Return to the town of Hazatak 

and journey South-West to find a Cave which will lead to 

the planet Frigidia (You need the Mystery Star to enter 

the Cave).

FRIGIDIA From the exit of the Cave, go West then 

South (around the Lake).  Head North along the Peninsula 

at the bottom of the Lake to find Mystoke. Talk to all 

the villagers then enter the Castle (you will have to 

pass the test of the Ancient Laya).  You can travel to 

the Upper-Left corner an find a grove of trees that leads 

to the Castle Dungeon. After learning Laya's story, 

journey to the Layan Temple at the North-East portion of 

Frigidia (located next to a cave, near an air strip).   

Enter the temple and return to Elysium.

ELYSIUM In Aerone, talk to the villagers, they will 

tell you of a secret path in the Village. Find the stone 

pathway at the bottom of the Village and head East (the 

path leads to a ship). The ship will take you to Dahlia 

Castle.

DAHLIA Go through Dahlia Castle and find the 

dungeon. Meet and fight Lune (The key to beating Lune is 

to use your healing techniques on the weaker members of 

the party.  Have a member use Gires as an attack before 

they are injured on the first round.  If the spell 

caster's levels are high enough, Gires will work on the 

first try).

GENERATION 3: ARON (NIAL MARRIES ALAIR)

DAHLIA MOON You start off in Dahlia Castle.  Talk to all 

the people and you will get your first three companions 

Go back to save the game. From there head to Aridia.

ARIDIA Go to Laya's home (the hidden area, right 

below Hazatak).  Laya will join your party again.

FRIGIDIA(AQUA PARTS) Find an Airstrip (there is one 

towards the Northern side of the planet and another near 

Mystoke). Go to Skyhaven (north of Mystoke floating on 

lake) and talk to Council;  Find the Aqua parts in the 

Dungeon. Note: you cannot equip or use any "parts" as an 

item. Leave Skyhaven and go to New Mota (left of 

Mystoke). Return to Aquatica.

AQUATICA Transform Wren into Aquaskimmer at any dock, 

then go to Sage Isle (East of Shusoran and Agoe) find 

Siren (who will give you the Siren's Shot for Wren) and 

talk to the Sages. Return to Landen.

LANDEN Go to the Sunken Palace (South of Yoata) to 

get Orakio's Sword then return to Aridia.

ARIDIA Talk to the Cyborg in the Desert (North of 

Hazatak) and get Mium's Claw then return to Aquatica.

AQUATICA Talk to the Sages and receive the Ancient 

Word of Power and go to Terminus (through Laya's Temple 

on Aridia or Draconia).

TERMINUS Transform Wren into an Aerojet and go to 

Lashute (at the center of the planet, floating over water 

- looks like Skyhaven). Talk to everyone then use the 

Temple on the left side of the planet to return to 

Frigidia.

FRIGIDIA Return to Skyhaven and the council will 

change your Legendary Weapons into Nei Weapons. Return to 

Lashute (Terminus).

TERMINUS Return to Rulakir's throne room. Once 

Rulakir is defeated, a passage to the dungeon (where Dark 

Force is) will reveal itself.

GENERATION 3: SEAN  (AYN MARRIES THEA)

ARIDIA Go to Landen (upper left Cave).

LANDEN Talk to everyone in Landen then go across 

the bridge to the city West of Landen (this city has been 

destroyed), then go South to a Cave that will take you to 

Elysium (cave is pretty hard to find, so keep 

searching!).

GENERATION 3: SEAN (CON'T)

ELYSIUM(SUB PARTS) Go West to the mountains and 

follow them South to North Divisia, go through the Castle 

to get to South Divisia. Go West to another mountain 

range and follow it up and around to get to The Lost 

Cavern (where you will find the Sub parts for Wren Note: 

you cannot equip or use any "parts" as an item.) Return 

to Hazatak.

ARIDIA(MYSTERY STAR) Walk around the edge of river 

near Hazatak to find the entrance to a secret world (Wren 

will automatically change into a sub). In a temple you 

will find Laya (next companion). Laya has the Mystery 

Star and Laya's Bow. Once you have Laya, exit the secret 

world, going back the same way you came. Travel South-

West to a Cave that will open if you have the Mystery 

Star (this will take you to Frigidia).

FRIGIDIA(ICE PLANET) Go South to the lake and go 

West, follow the coast to Mystoke. Talk to all the 

villagers in Mystoke. Laya's pendant is in Mystoke 

Castle. Once you have the Pendant, go to the Temple in 

the North West corner of the planet and return to 

Elysium. The Pendant will enable you to transport between 

worlds by stepping on the Blue Square inside the Temples.

ELYSIUM Go North and over a bridge to Aerone.  Talk 

to the villagers in Aerone.  Walk to the right on the 

lowest path and you will find a Secret Passage at the end 

of the path. Find a Space Ship that will take you to 

Dahlia Castle.

DAHLIA MOON(AERO PARTS) Talk to Lune and his daughters, 

Kara will join your party (she has Lune's Slicer). Find 

Aero parts in the Dungeon (use Aero parts by walking on 

the Airstrips and Wren transforms in to the Aerojet). 

Return to Elysium and then to Frigidia.

FRIGIDIA(AQUA PARTS) Find an Airstrip (there is one 

towards the Northern side of the planet and another near 

Mystoke). Go to Skyhaven (North of Mystoke floating on 

lake) and talk to Council;  Find the Aqua parts in the 

Dungeon. Leave Skyhaven and go to New Mota (West of 

Mystoke). Return to Aquatica.

GENERATION 3: SEAN (CON'T)

AQUATICA Transform Wren into Aquaskimmer at any dock, 

then go to Sage Isle (East of Shusoran and Agoe) find 

Siren (who will give you the Siren's Shot for Wren) and 

talk to the Sages. Return to Landen.

LANDEN Go to the Sunken Palace (South of Yoata) to 

get Orakio's Sword then return to Aridia.

ARIDIA Talk to the Cyborg in the Desert (north of 

Hazatak) and get Mium's Claw then return to Aquatica.

AQUATICA Talk to the Sages and receive the Ancient 

Word of Power and go to Terminus (through Laya's Temple 

on Aridia or Draconia).

TERMINUS Transform Wren into an Aerojet and go to 

Lashute (at the center of the planet, floating over water 

- looks like Skyhaven). Talk to everyone then use the 

Temple on the left side of the planet to return to 

Frigidia.

FRIGIDIA Return to Skyhaven and the council will 

change your Legendary Weapons into Nei Weapons. Return to 

Lashute (Terminus).

TERMINUS Return to Rulakir's throne room. Once 

Rulakir is defeated, a passage to the dungeon (where Dark 

Force is) will reveal itself.

GENERATION 3: ADAN (NIAL MARRIES LAYA)

LANDEN Talk to everyone in Landen, Yaata, and Ilan. 

Return to Elysium.

ELYSIUM Talk to everyone in Divisia and Aerone 

(about Gwyn's nightmares).  Walk to the right lowest path 

and you will find a Seceret Passage at the end of the 

path.

DAHLIA Talk to Lune, Alair, and Kara.  Lune's 

guards will tell you of the two battling Space Ships 

during the Earthquake. Kara (Lune's niece) will join your 

party (she has Lune's Slicer). Search the dungeon for the 

AeroParts for Wren. Return to Elysium.

ELYSIUM Go to Frigidia (go South to the mountains 

and then Right to Laya's Temple).

FRIGIDIA Find an Airstrip (there is one towards the 

Northern side of the planet and another near Mystoke). Go 

to Skyhaven (north of Mystoke floating on lake) and talk 

to the Council;  Find the Aqua parts in the Dungeon. 

Leave Skyhaven and go to New Mota (left of Mystoke). 

Return to Aquatica.

GENERATION 3: ADAN (CON'T)

AQUATICA Transform Wren into Aquaskimmer at any dock 

then go to Sage Isle (East of Shusoran and Agoe) find 

Siren (who will give you the Siren's Shot for Wren) and 

talk to the Sages. Return to Landen.

LANDEN Go to the Sunken Palace (South of Yoata) to 

get Orakio's Sword then return to Aridia.

ARIDIA Talk to the Cyborg in the Desert (North of 

Hazatak) and get Mium's Claw then return to Aquatica.

AQUATICA Talk to the Sages and receive the Ancient 

Word of Power and go to Terminus (through Laya's Temple 

on Aridia or Draconia).

TERMINUS Transform Wren into an Aerojet an go to 

Lashute (at the center of the planet, floating over water 

- looks like Skyhaven). Talk to everyone, then use the 

Temple on the left side of the planet to return to 

Frigidia.

FRIGIDIA Return to Skyhaven and the council will 

change your Legendary Weapons into Nei Weapons. Return to 

Lashute (Terminus).

TERMINUS Return to Rulakir's throne room. Once 

Rulakir is defeated, a passage to the dungeon (where Dark 

Force is) will reveal itself.

GENERATION 3: CRYS (AYN MARRIES SARI)

LANDEN In Landen, talk to all the people then exit 

the city. Head South and to the Left, then go all the way 

South and you will find a Cave. Go through the Cave to 

get to Elysium.

ELYSIUM Head South-West to find Upper Divisia City. 

Go through the city and it's Dungeon to find lower 

Divisia. Talk to everyone in Divisia, then exit. Head 

North-West to find a Cave;  Go through the Cave and you 

will find the Sub Parts for Wren. Return to Aridia.

ARIDIA Go to the Coast line to the Right of Hazatak 

and you will use your Sub Parts. Once out, search the 

land to find a Palace. Go in and you will get Laya (go 

all the way up).  Then go back to where Wren Changes, 

then go to the town. Build up Laya's levels (if she dies 

here there's a hidden restore place in the building with 

nothing on it).

GENERATION 3: CRYS (CON'T)

ARIDIA(CON'T) Once she is built up, head South-West 

to a Cave at the bottom (this Cave will take you to 

Frigidia).

FRIGIDIA Walk around to the left (the city Mystoke is 

in the circle in the middle of the Frozen Lake). Talk to 

everyone in Mystoke then enter the Castle. Go through the 

castle and you will find Laya's Pendant; exit the Castle 

and the city. Go North-West and find the Temple;  Go in 

and you will be transported to Elysium.

ELYSIUM Go North and you will find a Bridge. Go over 

the bridge and you will find the city of Aerone.  Walk to 

the right on the lowest path and you will find a Secret 

Passage a the end of the path. The Spaceship will take 

you to Dahlia Castle.

DAHLIA MOON Find Kara (your next companion).  Also, find 

a set of stairs going to the Dungeon (where you find the 

Aeroparts for Wren). Kara can attack the back row, even 

with Characters in front of them. Return to Aerone (on 

Elysium).

ELYSIUM Exit the town and go to Frigidia.

FRIGIDIA Find an Airstrip (there is one towards the 

Northern side of the planet and another near Mystoke). Go 

to Skyhaven (north of Mystoke floating on lake) and talk 

to the Council;  Find the Aqua parts in the Dungeon. 

Leave Skyhaven and go to New Mota (left of Mystoke). 

Return to Aquatica.

AQUATICA Transform Wren into Aquaskimmer at any dock 

then go to Sage Isle (East of Shusoran and Agoe) find 

Siren (who will give you the Siren's Shot for Wren) and 

talk to the Sages. Return to Landen.

LANDEN Go to the Sunken Palace (South of Yoata) to 

get Orakio's Sword then return to Aridia.

ARIDIA Talk to the Cyborg in the Desert (north of 

Hazatak) and get Mium's Clay then return to Aquatica.

AQUATICA Talk to the Sages and receive the Ancient 

Word of Power and go to Terminus (through Laya's Temple 

on Aridia or Draconia).

TERMINUS Transform Wren into an Aerojet an go to 

Lashute (at the center of the planet, floating over water 

- looks like Skyhaven). Talk to everyone then use the 

Temple on the left side of the planet to return to 

Frigidia.

GENERATION 3: CRYS (CON'T)

FRIGIDIA Return to Skyhaven and the council will 

change your Legendary Weapons into Nei Weapons. Return to 

Lashute (Terminus).

TERMINUS Return to Rulakir's throne room. Once 

Rulakir is defeated, a passage to the dungeon (where Dark 

Force is) will reveal itself.

SIREN: 1270-1280 HP

SARI: 220-230 HP

LUNE: 1920-1930 HP

RULAKIR: (FIRST BOSS BEFORE DARK FORCE) 1450-1460 HP

DARK FORCE:  10,000-12,000 HP.  Take out the left hand 

(his left hand, right side of screen) first!  That will 

help you defeat him.

NOTE: Our counselor was at these levels when she defeated 

Dark Force:

SEAN 22 - NEI SWORD MIEU 59 - NEI CLAW, 

PLANER CLAW

WREN 59 - NEI SHOT LAYA 56 - NEI BOW

KARA 7 - NEI SLICER, PLANER SLICER

The techniques Megido (Sean) and Grantz (Mieu) are NOT 

used.  When the player finishes the game, the programming 

will use them, but the player can't actually use them, 

like normal spells.
