@ AD 2650       Kal Dayno succeeds in constructing a portable quantum phase
                inhibitor known as the Tox Utot.  Used as a weapon, the Utot is
                capable of halting all nuclear reactions in a star.  Under
                circumstances which remain unclear; Kal Dayno flees back
                through time to the mid-22nd century, where he hides the Tox
                Utot from a pair of Vorgon persuers.

@ AD 2700       The Terran historian Professor Burlinghof Rasmusen travels back
                to the 22nd century to study early Terran interstellar
                exploration efforts.  He fails to return to his own century.
