Riker gives the command to fire, but no effect, and the Borg re-enter warp and head for sector 001. Earth has been able to gather 40 ships to meet the Borg at Wolf 359. All 40 ships are destroyed. The Enterprise captures Picard "Locutus", and Data uses the links between Borg to put them to sleep.

The Enterprise discovers a colony on a planet, and must remove the colonists in three days before the Sheliak take over. The Sheliak recognize human life as vermin, and would kill all of the colonists. # 116 45587.3
Worf is severly injured and wants Riker to help him to commit suicide. A specialist in back injurys beams aboard the Enterprise to assist Dr Crusher with Worf's case. The specialist doesn't take proper procedures with new treatments and there is war between the two doctors.

The Enterprise detects a strange rift in space, and the 1701-C emerges from the rift this changing the past, and creates a new present. One where the Klingon emprire and the Federation is still at war. Guinan convinces Picard to send the 1701-C back through the rift to return the present to normal.
