My sanctuary

My home away from the stress of life
the one I could choose as a wife
the one that takes me away from pain
the sunshine in a life of rain
a smile to brighten my day
a reason to never stray
she makes me happy in every sense of the word
she shows me love is more than just a word
love is a way of life, a state of mind
a feeling that you don't normally find
A feeling that I hope will never end,
more than just a lover, also my best friend
