Prologue
----------------------------------------------------------

The Star Trek Comics Checklist is a guide to licensed and
unauthorized Star Trek comics published in English. In
addition to comics, you will find references to publications
with related material, such as articles on Star Trek comics and
illustrations with a Star Trek theme. Foreign language comics
and reprints are not included in this list.

Nearly all of the licensed comics have a synopsis. The names
of writers and artists, if known, are in parentheses (writer[s];
artist[s]; cover artist[s]). My apologies to colorists and
letterers, whose names are not included. I hope to add them to a
future version of the checklist.

Part 6 contains references to comics which parody Star Trek and
are intended for mature readers. Some people may be offended by
the titles of these comics.

If a noteworthy character or event from a television episode or
movie appears in a comic, the title of the episode or film
appears in parentheses ("Where No Man Has Gone Before" [TOS]).
